I only ordered take out from this restaurant and the tamales were authentic and delicious. Service was efficient and friendly. I look forward to visiting this restaurant again and having more of their cuisine! In the meantime if you desire authentic delicious tamales, this is the p,ace to go.

I love coming to this place! I had the lengua burrito with meat, beans and cheese only so tender every time I come here. The other order was a chicken torta. They don't skimp on the meat. It's overflowing out of the torta and always tender. I would highly recommend if you're looking for your burrito or Torta fix to stop in here.

this place should have a line out the door! interior is spacious and clean. incredible $2.75 taco tuesday deal with delicious variety of tacos. steak milanesa taco and goat taco were my favorites. free chips and salsa for dine-in. the guac is delicious as well.

Yow! Our new go-to Mex place. Great fresh food, made as ordered... delicious... reasonable prices. And really nice staff, feels like family. Pleasant ambience though so far we are just take-out. And margaritas if we dine in... It'll happen.

All categories are top notch. The food is excellent. We've had tacos, tostadas, tamales, pozole. Service was prompt and knowledge. An excellent addition to the area.

Went there on a July Sunday. Had an appetite for good Mexican tamales. Hard to find I will say because they almost usually have very little protein. So we stopped and order a dozen upon the recommendation of a couple of our neighbors. We just had the tamales so we are yet to try the rest of their food. Ordered the pork, the chicken and the cheese with rajas - strips of cactus. Absolutely delicious. Full of protein and cheese. The cheese ones were too hot for my taste- hence the 4 stars, my only complaint. Had to eat them with some sour cream but after that they were perfect, really, really good. The other two, the chicken and the pork were great and not too spicy. Both full of protein. We will be buying again. Finally decent tamales!

I attended a party that served tacos from Maria's Tamales. There were large pans of beef and chicken tacos, along with containers of sauces and toppings. Everyone enjoyed the food and two trays provided enough tacos for about 15 people. I don't live in the area, but I heard this place is already popular in the neighborhood just a few months after opening. I'd definitely suggest giving it a try!
